Instagram – videos on the rise!
As it could have been predicted from the trends on it’s parent platform Facebook, Instagram has seen a sharp rise in the popularity of videos.
The introduction of the longer video formats on Instagram has further increased the percentage of video consumers on the platform. According to a study by the GlobalWebIndex, around 40% of all Instagrammers watch videos on the platform on a global average.
The bottom line is: creating cross-platform adaptable video content is more important than ever in order to realize a progressively evolving digital content ecosystem.
